Well rewinding the clock a little, before StartCut days. Oren Barkan impressively managed Global Media Interactive, taking due credit for promoting an entire generation of elite electronic musicians. Impressively, GMI was one of the first content providers to cellular operations in Israel and one of the leading exporters of content to and from the Israeli market.
It started with supporting the online system integration of the Israeli Defense Forces during his service, after which he studied Industrial Management and Marketing that enabled him to successfully manage his brother's phenomenal musical endeavors.
Barkan's 'outside the box' thinking has allowed him to transform normal into extraordinary and adhered with his instinctively passionate business sense and extensive experience in all faucets of the industry.
